Counterweight Installation
Custom casts in ten colors and three sizes provide anchor points for an installation in Paris. ACA was asked to do an installation for a jewelry designer's home. The idea was to manipulate and change the perceived form of her corridor with an installation. So we made a rubber mold of a faceted form in 3 different sizes, and ten different colors to produce the anchor weights for this suspended system. Each line has two weights on it – counterweighting each other from the ceiling to the wall.
